Mary Jane Carpenter will be giving a talk on the importance of probate records in genealogical research. Mary Jane is a retired title examiner who has had years of experience in this field. She is also someone with a lot of curiosity who is very adept at ferreting out the human stories hidden behind the legal jargon and her presentation promises to be entertaining as well as educational. There should be lots of time left for socializing and general discussion so please bring lots of ancestors. See you on the 14th. |
