WRITING CONTEST
The Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Inc. announces a Writing Contest for 2010 in celebration of the 35th year of the Society. The goal of the contest is to encourage and recognize amateur writers from our membership. A judging committee will select the winning entries based on accuracy of documentation and clarity of interpretation. The 2010 prizes will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Winning entries may be published in MASSOG.
Information to be observed by contest participants is explained in the MSOG Writing Contest Rules:
- All submissions must be received by August 15, 2010.
- Send your submission as an attachment to msogwritingcontest@msoginc.org.
- Submissions should include a three-generation family study, tell an interesting story about parents and children, or provide a brief solution to a genealogical problem.
